Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year competition 2017
I was delighted to be selected to take part in the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year competition in 2017. Along with 54 other finalists I had the opportunity to paint celebrity sitters during an unforgettable six days of filming at the historic Wallace Collection, London. The sitters were famous names from stage and screen, and the crew and judges were great. Selection was from self portraits (as I entered late and there was little time I chose to do this one in a small size!).
Draw 16, Menier Gallery, London
Two of Kaye's drawings were selected for Draw 16, the annual exhibition of the Society of Graphic Fine Art – The Drawing Society, held at the Menier Gallery, London from 3-15 October 2016.
Modern portraits – about the process
In the age of digital photography and the selfie, contemporary portraits are gaining in popularity.
