Ann was a vibrant personality who enjoyed a long career as an artist, teacher, printmaker and ceramicist. We often sketched and painted together, and went to many art exhibitions and events. I painted her wearing antique amber earrings which reminded me of Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring.
